Is it True Love or Toxic Pleasing?
What is true love—and how can you tell the difference between true love and toxic love? True love begins with the freedom to be yourself. In this talk, I explore five areas where we have the right to honor our own truth: 🧠 Psychological — the freedom to think for yourself ❤️ Emotional — the freedom to feel what you feel 🫶 Physical — the freedom to honor your body and its needs 🔥 Sexual — the freedom to honor your authentic desires and boundaries ✨ Spiritual — the freedom to understand and experience God in your own way When we abandon that freedom in order to gain love, approval, belonging, or acceptance, love can become toxic pleasing. Instead of love, we begin practicing: Self-abuse. Self-neglect. Self-abandonment. Self-shame. Self-rejection. True love doesn’t require you to betray yourself to keep someone else. It allows you to be you, others to be others, and God to be the God of your own understanding. Questions are the doorway in: Where have you been taught to reject yourself in order to be loved? And what would change if love included the freedom to be fully you? — Heidi Rain #TrueLove #ToxicLove #ToxicPleasing #PeoplePleasing #SelfLove #RelationshipHealing #RelationshipTrauma #CodependencyRecovery #Authenticity #FreeWill #SpiritualHealing #HeidiRain to learn more about the course, go to www.lovecoachheidi.com
